The summer fiction issue of The Walrus arrived in the mail last week and there’s a great piece on the life of Richard John Neuhaus by Randy Boyagoda. In it Boyagoda mentions Neuhaus’s posthumously published book, American Babylon: Notes of a Christian Exile, saying that
“Neuhaus sets his vision on what it means to live meaningfully in the here and now.”
Published by Basic Books
P.S. The summer fiction issue of The Walrus also has an interesting piece on Hugh McLennan and a wonderful short story by Joseph Boyden from the point-of-view of Calamity Jane’s bastard son.
