With the Lord for Cowards You Will Find No Place: catl –

catl release record #2 this weekend at the Silver Dollar (Friday Jan 15) and a free all-ages show (Saturday Jan 16) in T.O.  at Sonic Boom Records

HIGH LEG KICKS! as band member extraordinaire Sarah K would say.

Ben Rayner in the Star gave the band the first official thumbs-up for their sophomore record: “The distance between onstage catl and studio catl is hereby closed. Kirkpatrick adds extra droning menace to “Goin’ Home” and gives Fleming an unhinged vocal foil on the snaky “Caroline.” Fleming’s ragged jams stand up here as proper songs and have a kick hammered home nicely by garage-rock maestro Jim Diamond, who produced half the record. Dirty fun.”
